A Unique Cultural Collaboration Fuses Taiwanese and African American, Music, Dance, and Heritage!

Grammy Nominated Taiwanese Composer Chihsuan Yang and celebrated African American Composer, Director, and Choreographer Sean McLeod celebrate a collaboration.

Spawned by the never ending search of New Music USA for what’s next in the world of music and dance, Ms.Yang and Mr. McLeod will collaborate for a new cross cultural creation by fusing their music and dance backgrounds; a Black choreographer/composer and a Taiwanese composer/musician. The new work will stretch concepts of culture, heritage, and what defines one another.

The work is incredibly supported by New Music USA and the National Parks Arts Foundation, and will take its first breath at the 34th “A Dance In Dance” Intimate Showing.
