Downtown Auburn will play host to the first-ever Harriet Tubman Freedom Music Festival on Tuesday.
More than a handful of performers are scheduled to play in Tuesday night’s festival at the State Street Mall.
The inaugural event is organized by the New York Dance Festival, and sponsored in part by the city of Auburn, to celebrate Tubman, proving timely with other initiatives recognizing the abolitionist such as a national park in Auburn and making her the new face of the $20 bill…(read more)
