“The Other New York” Dance Awards!
These awards are given to pay homage to the dedication and commitment that dance educators and studio owners throughout Central New York and Upstate New York have contributed for so many years, and to also create a formal connection and artistic dance bridge between Upstate New York and New York City.
N’Jelle Gage & Guy Thorne were selected to receive the “Award of Distinguished Accomplishment”. This award is for those special few who have embraced the information learned in their CNY communities and have gone on to do notable national or International work in their dance careers with also never forgetting to keep a contributing investment of connection to the community that nurtured them.
